What a better way to start the new year than participating in beach cleanup to keep our oceans and beaches clean and healthy! Hosted by Trash Hero Borneo, the activity will be performed at two locations, from 3 to 6 in the evening. Trash Hero’s mission is to create sustainable, community-based projects that remove existing waste, and reduce future waste by inspiring long-term behaviour change. So don’t forget to mark your calendar and join the fun!
Challenge yourself with this seven hour run passing through various tourist destination spot. The event aims to promote and encourage the public on practicing a healthy lifestyle as well as creating an anti-drug awareness programme which is held by PEMADAM. An Open and Veteran category will be available for participants age 18 and above and 40 and above respectively. So head down to Ranau and start off 2018 with a healthy activity!
Held by Sabah Art Gallery, this annual exhibition aims to encourage and promotes young talents to be actively involved in the creation and appreciation of the visual arts by introducing creative works of new talents.
This annual event is held to commemorate those who fought and fell while defending Sabah against the Japanese during the World War II. The memorial park is built on the very spot of the massacre of Kinabalu Guerrillas on the 10th October 1943. A total of 176 member, led by Albert Kwok has made history with their most infamous attact; “Jesselton Revolt” or the “Double Tenth Revolt”. Let’s save the date and acknowledge the fallen warriors of Sabah!
Experience a journey of mind, body and soul at the very first Borneo Yoga Festival this January. Various yoga styles, arts and culture will be shared by guests invited during the festival to create a space for connection, adventure, relaxation and spiritual gathering among participants. Definitely something for yoga enthusiast to look forward too!
Learn how you can use writings to express emotions, joy, grief and every little thing that matters! The session will be led by pre-chosen topic where participants will be invited to share stories, ask questions and discuss together, how the topic relates to them. The event aims to allow participants to exchange thoughts and opinion on a certain topic.
This charity event is organized by the Association of Parents and Teachers (PIBG) of SMK St Mary Limbahau with the collaboration of former SMK St Mary students. The purpose of this program is to raise fund for the school’s development. Aside from the charity run, there will also be lucky draws for participants to win prizes. With 4 categories to win, this activity is definitely something that can be enjoyed by people from all ages.
