| The Mamutik Island |
Mamutik Island is one of the smallest island of the gazetted Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (named after the Malaysia's first Prime Minister) other than Manukan Island, Gaya Island, Sulug Island and Sapi Island. It only takes an exciting 15 to 20 minutes speedboat ride to the island from Jesselton Point, Kota Kinabalu. You can arrange daily boat services to the island with departures in the morning and pick-ups in the afternoon at the Jesselton Point.
Surrounded by wonderful coral reefs, the island fit diver enthusiasts. It is a suitable dive site for training dives and to learn your first diving experience with SCUBA professional staff. In the clear blue coral water, have fun with other water activities such as parasailing, banana boat riding and snorkelling. Apart from water activities, spend your time on the island's white sandy beach sunbathing, relaxing or building sand castles as tall as a skyscraper with your kids. It is a pleasurable way to spend hours as a family.

| Mamutik Island's Jetty |
Mamutik would be a great place as a getaway. If you are up for a bit of a land adventure, then pack your water bottles and hike the easy trail around the island. It can be completed in 20 minutes. You can also take the hiking route to the highest point of the island to see views of the coral reefs.
It is advisable to bring insect repellents to keep away mosquitoes. The facilities here include toilets, changing rooms, picnic shelters, tables and BBQ pits.
