Damai Central, a new resort-styled multi-purpose complex in Kuching will become another tourist attraction that will enhance Sarawak’s image as a premier holiday destination.
The complex, set on the edge of South China Sea and adorned by the majestic Mount Santubong, will be an exciting business and event hub to the scenic holiday destination. Also located in the vicinity are some of the state-of-the-art facilities like Damai Beach Resort and Damai Puri Resort & Spa, Sarawak Cultural Village (SCV), Damai Golf and Country Club and Camp Permai.
With just 35km drive from Kuching, the RM18 million Damai Central is designed according to Sarawak’s ethnic concept. It will feature an open-air arena, open stage, a multi-purpose hall, food court featuring local and fusion food, 15 units of commercial lots and six booths. Meanwhile, the commercials lots in the complex would be occupied by a seafood restaurant, bar, convenience shop and souvenir outlets. Apart from this, the booths would cater for arranging tours, rental of recreational facilities and services.
